About Me
Hi, my name is Meredith, and I love taking my home to the next level! For the last 10 years, I have truly fallen in love with DIY projects, and it is a passion that I cannot resist. One issue I ran into was transferring my dreams into reality with a budget. I needed to figure out how to make my visions come to life and stay on a budget simultaneously. After searching many posts along the way, I decided, “I CAN DO THIS!!” So, I decided to share my love for DIY with others looking for their vision on a budget.
I would love to help you find ways to update, decorate, and organize your home while staying on budget.
We all have dreams of what we would love to see in our home but don’t always feel we can achieve those dreams. I am here to tell you it is POSSIBLE!
TEN THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME!!
- I was born in North Carolina… I am a true “Carolina Girl!!”
- My family is my world and I’ll do anything for them!
- I have been a teacher for many years and my students have become a part of my extended family.
- I love to sing! I grew up singing with family and in church and eventually took my talent to the pageant stage for several years. I grew and learned so much about myself during this time in my life.
- I love waking up early just to sneak downstairs in my cozy robe and pour a cup of coffee and enjoy the peacefulness of my home, during these wee hours.
- I love sushi, it’s my favorite! I could literally eat Japanese cuisine daily!
- I am not a huge fan of sweets…I know crazy right?
- Here’s a fun fact…when I wash my hair I get hiccups EVERY TIME!!
- When I get stressed I clean the house, or pretty much anything in my sight.
- My love language is words and acts of service- (maybe why I LOVE when my husband decides to be my DIY assistant!)

We are finally getting our whitewash brick installed tomorrow! I’m ecstatic, it has been here since December, thankful to FINALLY have found the right contractor! I almost did this myself, I’m very impatient- One of the main reasons I love to DIY!☺️
