Affordable IKEA TV Console Hack! -

Thanks for stopping by; this has to be one of my favorite projects in a while. I think it’s because it saved me a TON of money!

In our last few homes, we have always put our TV over our mantle. I really wanted to try something different. I have been on the hunt for a while for a large enough console to accommodate our 70 ” TV, allowing for storage and room to decorate, of course. After weeks of searching and learning the cost of most extra-large consoles that met all the criteria, the reality is they are costly. The more affordable options were just too small for my liking.

Finally, one day while scrolling through Pinterest, I came across a fabulous post from a fellow blogger @ Three Times a Home on a wonderful and better yet affordable TV console hack from IKEA. Check out her post here!

I was able to purchase all of the needed parts for just over $400 score with other units with similar size and storage for almost $4,000!
